Goal – Qualify and Set Appointments 

The Digital Appointment Setter Specialist role is a business development position. The right candidate will have substantive experience in cold calling, prospect qualification, and digital marketing. This position requires you to cold call companies unaware of Digital Impulse, communicate an opportunity to increase sales and revenue through Pay Per Click Marketing (Paid Search), and set up a series of phone appointments and virtual meetings.  

Objectives  

  • Contact small and medium-sized business owners whose companies currently run PPC programs to generate leads and drive sales. 

  • Communicate an opportunity for these organizations to increase lead volume and sales while maintaining or decreasing the costs associated with this initiative. 

  • Get past gatekeepers, connect directly with owners, and set-up meetings to discuss this opportunity in detail with Digital Impulse. 

  • Note that there will be times when contacting business owners is challenging. They may have layers of protection that make it challenging to set up a meeting. They may also be initially reticent to take the time to speak about their PPC efforts. 

  • Be persuasive and earn their time. 

  • You MUST, within minutes, be able to help them recognize that this is a worthwhile phone appointment for them to take. 

Expectations  

  • You will be expected to set an average of 5 appointments every 10 hours. We're looking for someone to work 2-3 hours per day, between the hours of 9 a.m. to 5 pm., Monday through Friday.  

  • You must have a strong understanding of digital lead generation, and the role Paid Search (sometimes called PPC) plays in that process. 

  • You must have a desktop or laptop computer  

  • You must have experience working in Excel and strong experience working in a CRM. You must have a proven background in this type of work.  

  • We will provide you with the basic information on how to make these appointments and additional information, so you'll be able to understand the value of the services we provide.  

  • Please be advised that as a prerequisite for this position, you must have the ability to record the phone calls you'll be making using our call recording system.  

  • You will report to Digital Impulse’s Chief Experience Officer  

  • This is a 100% virtual, remote work position.  

Responsibilities  

  • Execute a proven process for both qualifying and influencing decision-makers. 

  • Understand the hallmarks of a qualified lead and book meetings with only those who meet this criterion. 

  • Setup meetings 

  • Record initial conversations and/or communicate these conversations to the appropriate Digital Impulse team members. 

Qualifications  

  • 5-10 years in appointment setting/business development roles 

  • 3-5+ years of experience in digital lead generation strategies, campaigns and techniques 

  • Journeyman level of experience with paid search, campaign strategies and associated technologies. 

  • Highly self-motivated and the ability to work independently 

  • Persuasive communication style 

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills 

  • Ability to perform base level research using the internet to fill information gaps as needed
